I am 5 1/2 weeks Pregnant - but maybe not

Hi Everyone,

Any words of advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yesturday I started to spot just a little more bornish then anything, then in the evening it got a little pinker.

This morning, there was nothing. I get to work and go the washroom there is alot more and red with tiny clots the size of a pea..

I called the doctor yesturday and they sent me for bloodwork this morning (which I did).

The nurse mentioned that she will have the results in the morning, do I wait till then. Should I call the doctor again.

This is my first, and I do not know what to do.

It could be implantation bleeding. The bloodwork is to check for HCG levels. I went through the same thing, was terrified and everything turned out just fine. Blake is 10 months old and the picture of health. Bleeding happens in 1 of every 4 pregnancies. I know that doesn't make the 1 any better- but at least it is very common.

I would make an appointment with the dr. I would want to know the HCG level. I would also ask for additional blood work to check that the HCG levels are rising. If they are, then the baby is growing.
